This guide shows how to install multiple Zaptec Go units on both a single and 3-phase installation.
- Max three Zaptec Go chargers per home- installation
- The chargers have integrated earth fault protection RDC-DD, 6mA(DC) ihht IEC 62955
- Each charger must be protected by a max 40A Type A 30mA RCD circuit breaker, in accordance with safety regulations (NEK 722.531.2.3.101)
- Do not daisy chain units together
- Fuse must be equal in value on installations with several Zaptec Gos
3- phase installation
When manually rotating phases on a 3-phase installation, you must use the Zaptec app to specify which incoming phase (L1, L2, or L3) is connected to the phase 1 terminal. This is done during the installation process.
3- phase installation - 3-phase chargers
- Load balancing with 32A 3-phase divided into three circuits
- One fuse per Zaptec Go
- Fuse with integrated earth fault protection type A
- Phase rotation for better load distribution at 1-phase charging
3- phase installation - 1-phase chargers
- Load balancing with 32A divided into three circuits
- One fuse per Zaptec Go
- Fuse with integrated earth fault protection type A
- Phase rotation for better load distribution
1- phase installation
Example of 1-phase installation with chargers wired 1-phase.
- Load balancing with 32A divided into three circuits
- One fuse per Zaptec Go
- Same phase for each charging station. No phase rotation
- Fuse with integrated earth fault protection type A
For 1-phase IT installation. Wire L1- L2 , L2-L1 and L1-L2.
Please note that even though this is possible there will not be a lot of available power when connecting three chargers on IT. 1phase.
