If you can´t connect or sign in to the Zaptec app

If you've set up your Zaptec account and need help signing in to the Zaptec app, follow these steps.

☝️ The app is continuously updated with new functionality. You may also want to check that you have the latest version.

 

If you can only sign in to the Zaptec Portal but not the Zaptec app

If you are able to sign in using your credentials in the Zaptec Portal, but when signing into the Zaptec app you get an error message saying "Could not login" try the following:

For Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Zaptec > Scroll down > Storage > Empty data + empty buffer. 

 

If you can´t connect to the app and there is no error message

If you can´t connect to the app, try the following:

  • Log out of the app, then log back in with your Zaptec account
  • Force close the app
  • Restart the device, open the app, and try again
  • Uninstall the app from your device. Redownload the Zaptec app from the Appstore or Google Play Store, then sign in again
