Restart your Zaptec charger without an internet connection using the Zaptec app

In some situations, you may need to restart your Zaptec charger without an internet connection, such as when trying to reconnect it to the internet. Fortunately, this process is straightforward and can be done locally via Bluetooth using the Zaptec app. 

To restart charger in app:

  1. Before starting, make sure you have the charger's PIN code. You can find this code in the Zaptec Portal or the installation manual. 
  2. Open the Zaptec app on your mobile device. If you haven't downloaded it yet, head to the App Store (for iOS users) or Google Play Store (for Android users) and download the Zaptec app. 
  3. Login using your existing Zaptec account credentials. If you don't have an account, you can create one within the app.
  4. Tap on the three-dot icon on the top right and select Configure Products.
  5. Choose the charger and enter the PIN code.
  6. Tap Restart Charger at the bottom.
  7. Following the restart command, the charger's LEDs will turn off briefly and then start pulsating yellow. This indicates that the charger is attempting to reconnect to the internet. Once the charging station is ready for use, it will display either a green light (for Zaptec Pro) or a white light (for Zaptec Go).
