When you log in to the Zaptec App you will be able to see chargers and installations linked to your account. If your charging station is not visible, you'll need to add the product manually or request access to it, depending on your Zaptec charger.
Add Zaptec Go in the Zaptec App
Once an authorised electrician has completed the installation, follow the steps below to add your charger. Make sure you're within Bluetooth range of the charger (<20m).
Step-by-step:
- Open the Zaptec App.
- On the Dashboard, tap + Add new. If you don't see that option (for example, if you already have another Zaptec charger), then go to Installations and tap + Add new.
- Scan the QR code (or enter the serial number),
- Tap Add Zaptec Go.
- Enter the PIN and tap Next.
- Enter your address, choose a name for the charging station, and tap Save.
If the "Next" button is not available after entering the serial number, you may be trying to add a Zaptec Pro charger. It needs to be added to an installation in the portal.zaptec.com.
Charging station already set up elsewhere?
If the app reports that the charging station is already added elsewhere, that means someone else (often the installer) has already added it to their Zaptec account.
In this case:
- Ask your installer if they added it to their account.
- If so, they can add you as an owner directly via the Zaptec App.
- If needed, you can also contact Zaptec Support for assistance.
Using Zaptec Pro?
If you have a Zaptec Pro charging station, it needs to be added to an installation in the Zaptec Portal. As this is a part of the installation process, it will usually be done by an authorised electrician. If you want to manage the Zaptec Pro in the app, ask the installation owner to give you access.

Are you an installer setting this up for a customer?
If you're an installer activating the Zaptec Go on behalf of the owner (e.g. assigning ownership, setting service partner access, linking to an existing setup), please follow the dedicated guide here:
