Default charging mode

This mode allows you to set the maximum charging current for your installation.

If you use special devices to balance power in your home, like an external load-balancing or third-party energy manager, it's crucial to keep this Default charging mode active to avoid disruptions or inefficiencies. If you don't use these devices, you can try other charging modes for more options.

Scheduled charging mode

Scheduled charging mode lets you set specific times for your charging. This means you can choose to charge during off-peak hours when electricity is cheaper or at times that best fit your routine. By scheduling charging sessions, you can save on energy costs and ensure your car is ready when you need it.

Automatic charging mode

This mode uses the Zaptec Sense device installed in your fuse box to monitor your home’s energy use. It automatically adjusts your car’s charging speed to match the available power, ensuring efficient charging without overloading your system.

Note: If you switch to another charging mode it will deactivate Zaptec Sense. To keep these automatic adjustments, continue using Automatic Charging mode.

Eco mode

Eco Mode schedules your car’s charging to when electricity is at its lowest,

Note: We don't recommend using Eco Mode and Automatic charging mode at the same time - as they may not work well together.
