How to limit charging to 1-phase on Zaptec Go 2

If you want to reduce how much power your charger draws, you can choose to use only one phase of your 3-phase setup. If you're the owner of a Zaptec Go 2 charger and it's connected to a 3-phase power supply, you can enable this setting in the Zaptec app under Advanced settings.

When turned on, the charger will only use the L1 phase, and will not switch automatically between 1-phase and 3-phase charging. This can be especially useful when you want to manually manage solar production or avoid drawing extra power from the grid.

The feature is only available on Zaptec Go 2. It’s not supported by Zaptec Go.

What you need

  • A Zapec Go 2 charger connected to a 3-phase grid.
  • Owner access to the installation.
  • The latest version of the Zaptec app.
  • Bluetooth access to the charger to access Advanced settings.

Some EVs that don’t support 3-phase charging may already use 1-phase by default. If you're unsure, check your car’s manual.

  2. On the Dashboard, find your charger and tap the gear icon to open its settings.
  3. Tap Advanced settings and connect to the charger via Bluetooth.
  4. Find Use 1-phase only and turn on the toggle.
