This guide explains how to install the Zaptec Column safely and efficiently, following best practices and industry standards.
Only qualified personnel should install, repair, or maintain this product. Always follow all local, regional, and national regulations.
Safety and compliance
Always use double-insulated (Class II) cables and products when installing without an upstream RCCB.
The supplied connection kit is rated Class II, ensuring full compliance with current safety regulations (IEC 61851-1:2019, 8.3; HD 60364-4-41).
Using improper cables or non-Class II products without an RCCB is unsafe and not compliant. If you use basic insulation or non-Class II products, you must install an upstream RCCB or fix the insulation breach.
