Zaptec PIN code

The PIN code is used to connect to your Zaptec charging station via Bluetooth. It’s typically required during installation or when changing advanced settings in the app.

Every Zaptec charging station comes with a unique, fixed PIN. It cannot be changed or reset.

Where to find the PIN code

If you need to find your PIN code, you can locate it in one of the following places:

  • On the charging station (printed label).

  • In the user manual that came with the charger.

  • On the product packaging.

  • In the Zaptec App or Zaptec Portal (if you have access to the charger).

In the Zaptec App:

  1. From the Dashboard find your charger and tap the gear icon.

  2. The PIN Code will be listed under General settings.

You can also find the PIN by going through the installation tab. Select your installation, then tap the charging station, and the PIN will appear directly under General settings.

If you can't access the PIN code

If the PIN isn’t visible to you, it usually means you don’t have ownership or access rights to the charger.

This can happen if:

  • You just moved into a new property
  • The charger hasn’t been added to your account
  • You’re not listed as the owner in the system

What you can do:

  1. Contact the previous owner
They may still have access and can either share the PIN or transfer ownership to you via the app or portal.
  2. If that is not possible and the charging station doesn't appear in the app or portal, contact our customer service.

To help verify ownership, be ready to provide:

  • The serial number of the charging station.
  • The installation address.
  • The name of the installer (if only the installer has access).
  • A purchase agreement for the property (if ownership is recently changed).

Once we verify the details, we’ll help you access your charger and its PIN.
