How to find your Zaptec PIN code

When you receive your charging station, you can find the PIN code in the following places:

  • On the user manual that comes with the charging station. 
  • On the packaging that came with the charging station. 

If the charging station is already set up and activated, you can also find the PIN code in the Zaptec app or the Zaptec portal. 

You need to be the owner of the installation and the charging station or have service access, to view the PIN code.

 


 

How to find the PIN code in the Zaptec app  

  1. Open the Zaptec app and find your charger on the dashboard. 
  2. Tap the gear icon to the left of the charging station. 
  3. The PIN code will be displayed under General settings.

Or:

  1. Go to the Installations tab in the app.
  2. Select your installation, and then the charger for which you want to see the PIN code.
  3. The PIN code will be available under General settings.

How to find the PIN code in the Zaptec Portal

If the Zaptec charger is activated and set up, you can easily find your PIN code in the Zaptec Portal as the owner.

  1. Log in to the Zaptec Portal.
  2. Select your charging station under Chargers.
  3. Go to Settings to find the PIN code. 



If you can't access the PIN code in the app and portal 

If you can't find your PIN code, or if the charging station doesn't appear in the app or portal, please reach out to our customer service for assistance.

When contacting customer service:

To ensure we provide the correct information to the right person, we need to confirm that you are the owner of the charging station. We may ask for the following: 

  • Serial number of the charging station.
  • Address where the charging station is registered.
  • Name of the installer who set up the charging station (if only the installer has access).
  • Purchase contract for the property (in case of ownership transfer, as it shows the name of the previous owner and the address).
