Recommended installation height for Zaptec charging stations

It is important that chargers are installed at a height that is suitable for all users. Legislation and guidance governing this may vary from country to country.

General recommendation

  • Install the charging stations with the Type 2 socket at 900mm above ground level.
  • This height is suitable for most users, including those standing or seated.
  • Always check for local regulations or standards before installation, as requirements may differ.
