Starting a charging session is straightforward, but the process might differ depending on how the station is set up. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started.

- Some Zaptec Pro stations require authentication (e.g., RFID tags or mobile apps).
- Ensure you have access permissions. If you’re unsure, contact the site administrator or building owner.
- Third-Party Systems:
- If a third-party system or payment operator controls the station, follow their specific instructions for access.
Step-by-step guide to start charging with Zaptec Pro
- Plug in your EV
- Plug the cable into your car, then into the charging station.

- Authenticate (If required)
If the charging station flashes yellow it means it is awaiting authentication:- RFID Card or Key: Tap your RFID card/key on the station’s reader.
- Zaptec app: Use the app to start a session. Open the app, find your charger, and select Authenticate.
- Third-Party App: If the station is managed by a third party, open their app and follow the instructions to authenticate and begin charging.
- Charging starts automatically
